Milling - General Milling, Disc Milling, Face milling, high feed milling, helical milling, square shoulder milling, Jabro® solid carbide endmills and threadmilling are all synonymous with Seco.

Seco milling products are suitable for machining almost any work material - from soft steel or easy-to-machine aluminum to difficult-to-machine super alloys.

Turning - Seco's range of coated and uncoated turning inserts comprises of more than 4000 standard inserts and more than 2000 toolholders. The products represent one of the most comprehensive ranges available on the market. Seco's new coating, Duratomic®, with an extreme level of both toughness and wear resistance, has evolved coated turning inserts dramatically and make's it the easy first choice in over 80% of steel and stainless steel turning applications.

Holemaking - Seco has a broad range of holemaking solutions for drilling, remaing and boring. Here's some details on each:

Drilling - Seco makes a number of drilling products to suit your application needs in diameter ranges of 2mm -85mm and 079"-3.5"

Reaming - These high quality, easy-to-use reamers are perfect for high performance machining and large batch production. Optimised cutting grades and geometries offer high productivity in all types of materials.
Diameter range 4mm - 60 mm and .1574" - 2.362".

  • Precimaster™ - Exchangeable head reamers
  • Bifix® and Precifix™ - Indexable reamers

Boring - EPB boring heads cover the entire 0,3mm - 2155mm .012" - 84.843" diameter range. These tools achieve positioning accuracy, hole diameter precision and flexibility. Diameter adjustment is possible down to .0001" (2.5µm)

  • A750 - Rough boring heads 
  • AxiaBore® (A76) - Axial type fine boring heads
  • A780 and A790 - Radial type fine boring heads

Advanced Cutting Materials - Secomax™ PCBN and Secomax™ PCD cutting tools are especially designed for higher productivity and longer tool life.

  • PCBN - PCBN-Polycrystalline Cubic Boron Nitride. Secomax grades are formulated and specifically developed for machining hardened steel, pearlitic cast iron, hard iron and superalloys.
  • PCD - Secomax PCD is a cost saving cutting tool especially designed for higher productivity and longer tool life. The combinations of diamond in a polycrystalline form offers a formidable cutting tool.

Tooling Systems - Seco has toolholding systems for all leading machine tool interfaces. The toolholder is an important link between the machine spindle and the cutting tool. It makes an important contribution to precision, run-out and overall tool life and productivity.

A complete range of holding systems is available in modular and solid styles.for the best possible flexibility and precision. Monobloc, modular, collet systems, hydraulic holders and shrinkfit clamping. Connection to all leading machine tool spindle interfaces in ISO, DIN, BT and Seco-Capto standards.
